Daylight Curfew was using another email platform that was not best suited for their website platform and business style. They had a big list but the subscribers were not engaging well. The open rate was around 10% and the click rate was below 1%. Also, the list needed a cleanup as there were some bot entries and spam emails. They had some major flows but not structured well and the emails needed improvement in terms of design.

My Approach

I first cleaned up their list from spam and bot emails and then migrated their whole list and event data into Klaviyo successfully. Then, I prepared a full flow content plan for each flow designed for the brand. I created different paths for different segments in each flow. For campaigns, I created a new strategy and calendar that targeted different segments in the subscriber list, plus different popups targeting different audiences on different visitors of the website.

Results

By partnering with Daylight Curfew to revamp their email marketing flows, campaigns and the whole setup, I increased the email marketing revenue from 30% to over 40% in just 30 days. Plus, the open rates went from a little over 10% to +30% within the first 30 days of working together. The click rates also increase from <1% to over avg. 3%. I also prepared a detailed SMS plan to start getting SMS subscribers and increasing revenue from SMS .
